PZDB Terms of Use 

ASECAP grants access to the Protected Zone Database platform (PZDB) free of charge for the authorized 
registered users.

The data contained in the ASECAP PZDB are provided solely for the purpose specified in ETSI TS 102 792, 
ETSI EN 302 571  and   ETSI EN 303 258,  respectively.  The  data  are   provided  by  data  providing  
organizations for the Protected Zones they manage or control and ASECAP only aggregates these data  
into the PZDB. It is the responsibility of a data providing organizations to insert, update and maintain
its data. By providing  data to the PZDB, data providing organizations acknowledge that ASECAP can
grant  access to  registered users who consent to the terms of use.

The  PZDB  Administrator  reserves the  right to  communicate with  the user  and  request  additional 
information and / or clarifications regarding the user’s organization and the intended use of the PZDB 
data by the user and his/her organization. The PZDB Administrator reserves the right to deny access to 
the PZDB to a user,if the intended use of the PZDB data by the user is not relevant with the  scope of 
the PZDB platform.

ASECAP reserves the right to update the PZDB at any time and without any prior notification.

It is not permitted  to publish or forward any  PZDB data as a whole or in part to third parties. This 
does not
apply to data providing organizati ons with respect to their own data. For the complete information of 
users, the PZDB and its data are protected by intellectual property law and, in particular,  regarding 
to European and French law, by the specific right protecting databases.

Each user has to check, regarding with law applicable to him, if the use of the PZDB and the PZDB data 
is authorized, regulated or restricted. 

The user must  inform  ASECAP  (secretariat@asecap.com)  about  any inconsistencies in the  data (s)he 
becomes aware of. 

Warranty and Limitation of Liability:  

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind regarding  performance 
and availability. 

ASECAP does not warrant that: (a) that the contents of the PZDB are timely and complete (b)  that  any 
errors identified will be corrected within specific time frame.

ASECAP and its personnel are not liable with respect to the service and the PZDB contents (i)  for any 
direct damages, or (ii) for any lost profits or special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages 
of any kind whatsoever.    

PZDB Privacy Policy

The  access to the  ASECAP Protected  Zone Database  (PZDB)  platform requires  registration, which is 
necessary to ensure legitimate use, keep users informed about updates of our  database and to  prevent 
misuse of our data. Registration involves personal data, which are only  collected and  transmitted to 
us after your explicit consent. The user is obliged to provide the personal data to access the PZDB. 

The ASECAP platform complies  with legislation  and applicable codes of conduct governing the privacy, 
security and confidentiality of personal information.

By using the ASECAP platform, the user accepts that personal data are collected and stored exclusively 
for internal  use by ASECAP, for purposes  related solely to the  Protected  Zone  Database,  e.g. for 
controlling  the access  to the PZDB, informing  the user  about  PZDB  data  updates and  for keeping 
statistics regarding logins to the ASECAP platform and  downloads of the PZDB. Personal data  will not 
be used for purposes not  related to the Protected  Zone Database, e.g. advertisement, and will not be 
shared with or disclosed to anyone outside ASECAP.

The personal data will be retained for as long as the PZDB  platform is operational or until a request 
for deletion from the user is received.

Users have the right to request from ASECAP access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or 
restriction of processing. Users  have also the  right to be  acknowledged of who has  access on their 
personal data. These rights may be  exercised by addressing ASECAP  in written (Rue Guimard 15. B-1040 
Brussels).  In  any case, regarding a personal data issue, users  keep the right to lodge a  complaint 
with a supervisory authority.

Cookies

The PZDB platform uses the following types of cookies:

•	Session cookies for authentication and session management. These are temporary cookies and are 
        not used for collecting or processing personal data. 
•	Functionality  cookies for locally storing user  preferences such  as user  interface settings. 
        This information is kept locally and is not shared with any third party.

It is noted that these cookies are necessary for the proper operation of the PZDB platform and are not 
used for any purpose other than those presented above.

The PZDB platform has no access to third party cookies (like Google Analytics etc)
